On March 23rd from 12:00 – 1:30 in the Discovery Centre room 482, Gary Rusyn from the Credit Counselling Society will be talking to students about managing debt and fraud prevention. By attending this free seminar, you will learn all about credit; from the differences between good and bad credit, the types of credit solutions best suited for students, and how your credit history can affect your future. You will also learn how to access your free credit report once a year and how to detect signs of identity theft. In the meantime, check out their website nomoredebts.org for great articles on credit in Canada, as well as great budgeting and credit tools to help you manage your finances.
