Dr. Yaxi Hu discussed with CBC News the findings of scientists at Consumer Reports: that traces of heavy metals have been found in dark chocolate. She says that this isn’t unexpected given the heavy metals identified in the chocolate, lead and cadmium, are found everywhere in our environment. Dr. Hu reassures that with average consumption of chocolate, consumers shouldn’t be too worried.
