Publication alert: Effect of cholesterol of chill tolerance
Mitchell Allen (BSc Biochemistry/2023) has had their honours thesis research published on the effect of a high cholesterol diet on fruit fly chill tolerance published. This work was part of a larger project in the group of Prof. Heath MacMillan (Institute of Biochemistry). This research highlights the complex manner in which diet might affect thermal tolerance in insects.
