M.Sc. Collaborative Specialization in Biochemistry

The two year specialization is offered to students entering the MSc program in either Biology or Chemistry.

Gain hands-on expertise on the methodologies, current advances and theoretical approaches used in all major areas in Biochemistry.

Ph.D. Collaborative Specialization in Biochemistry

This four year specialization is offered to students entering the PhD program in either Biology or Chemistry.

Choose from vast expertise in all major areas in Biochemistry including proteomics, metabolic biochemistry, xenobiotics, toxicology, genomics, and cellular and molecular biology. 

Access to an Extensive Network of Expertise

Joint Institute students have the opportunity to collaborate with researchers at both Carleton University and the University of Ottawa.

Many federal government research scientists are also members of the Joint Institutes in their role as Adjunct Researchers.

These collaborations give our students access to diverse research facilities both on and off campus across the Nation’s Capital.
