Jackie has over twenty years of public affairs experience working both in government and in the government relations industry. She has deep experience in navigating the intersection between government and industry and the complex environment which decision makers operate.
Jackie leads the government affairs team for 3M Canada and is responsible for developing and executing 3M’s government affairs strategy, working in close collaboration with internal and external business leaders, government and stakeholders. Jackie provides thoughtful, strategic advice and insights to senior leaders to help navigate the complex relationship between government, public affairs and public policy.
Prior to her role at 3M, Jackie led the national government relations practice for Crestview Strategy, a national public affairs firm in Ottawa. Here she managed a team of consultants and a client roster that ranged from multinational corporations to sole proprietor enterprises, in the manufacturing, energy, transportation, infrastructure, technology, immigration, health care, not for-profit and finance sectors.
Jackie began her career in government where she spent over ten years working in various roles, most recently as Chief of Staff to the Ontario Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services. During her time in government, she led the development of several key initiatives, including a comprehensive strategy to end human trafficking, the transformation of corrections and the modernization of police services. She also served as Chief of Staff to the Government House Leader where she developed and executed the government’s legislative agenda.
Jackie has been ranked a top 100 lobbyist and is a frequent speaker and panelist at public policy events. She is active in her community, regularly volunteering and serving on local boards. Jackie and her husband Geoff are based in Ottawa where they are raising their three young children.
Jackie has been elected to the Board of Governors for a three-year term commencing July 1, 2025, and ending on June 30, 2028.
