McDonald receives SWANA Ontario Chapter Scholarship

Rob McDonald received the SWANA Ontario Chapter Scholarship awarded by the Ontario Chapter of the Solid Waste Association of North America (SWANA) to students focused on improving and understanding contemporary waste management practices and systems.
McDonald, along with graduate student Courtney Berquist, is currently working on a project to optimize waste stabilization in northern climates funded by Waste Management Canada, Golder Associates, WSP and BluMetric Environmental.

Rob McDonald is a Master’s student supervised by Professor Shawn Kenny and Professor Paul Van Geel.
