A five-member delegate from Starstech, a South Korean technology company, recently visited the laboratories of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Starstech, through its Canadian sister company, Value CNT, developed a research partnership with the ARTEL research group at Carleton University. Through this partnership, Professor Hossain and his graduate student Mitch Lawlor will investigate new environment-friendly alternative deicing materials for controlling snow and ice on Canadian roads. Another exciting research ahead!
