Prof. Hossain and grad students developed a new Canadian asphalt binder selection tool
Professor Kamal Hossain, along with his graduate students, Alyssa Bernier and Surya Teja Swarna, introduces a binder selection tool that determines the Asphalt Binder Grade needed to construct roads specifically in Canada. To determine the asphalt binder, this tool captures regional climate parameters in Canada. For more information and to access the online tool, please visit the ARTEL website.
Prof. Hossain is an Assistant Professor at Carleton University in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Alyssa Bernier is a current M.A.S.c student at Carleton University and Surya Teja Swarna is a Ph.D. candidate from the Memorial University of Newfoundland. Both students are under the supervision of Prof. Hossain.
