Biography
Kevin Goheen has had leadership roles at two national engineering associations. In the past, he was responsible for managing a Scientific Research tax credit programme for manufacturing and technology companies. He has managed a seed capital fund focused on high tech investments. Previously, he was responsible for corporate finance and analysis activities for two of Canada’s largest independent investment banks, focusing on the industrial technology, aerospace and wireless communications sectors.
He has prepared and delivered courses and other training programs concerned with automation and advanced manufacturing. In his administrative positions at Carleton University, he set and applied academic policy and guided the direction of his Department and Faculty and participated in policy making and strategic planning for the University. As Associate Vice President, Academic at Toronto Metropolitan (Ryerson) University, he had primary responsibilities for developing institutional research, international activities and graduate programs and was part of the Senior Management team for the university.
