The CUOL Movember Challenge pitted CUOL Instructors against each other to raise funds and awareness for Movember. The Instructor who raised the most (adjusted for class size) agreed to conduct his or her last class in costume. We concluded the competition a few days early to let that happen.
Zeba Crook (Religion), Julie Dempsey (Psychology), Cheryl Harasymchuk (Psychology), Kim Hellemans (Neuroscience), Jeffrey Manthorpe (Chemistry), Nandini Sarma (French), Jeff Smith (Chemistry), Peter Thompson (Canadian Studies), Bruce Tsuji (Psychology) and Pam Wolff (Integrated Science Institute) all took part and together they raised $2850 as of the close of the competition.
Jeff Manthorpe raised $707 and won the challenge. He will be teaching his upcoming review lecture dressed as Elvis – look for photos and video clips on the CUOL website!
