Exploring Provincial Data on Canada’s NonProfit Sector

In this time of polycrisis, the charitable/nonprofit sector offers essential programs and services that make life better for communities. Join us to collectively think about the current and future state of Canada’s nonprofit sector—grounded in fresh data from provincial networks. Representatives from the Ontario Nonprofit Network (ONN), The Nonprofit Chamber, Vantage Point (BCNN), and Impact Organizations of Nova Scotia (IONS) will share rapid-fire research from their recent 2025 sector surveys. The Sector Surveys provide pivotal research which builds on Stats Canada data and uses some Charity Insights Canada Project (CICP) survey questions. Following these insights, we’ll move into a facilitated discussion where participants can reflect, ask questions, and share perspectives on the evolving role of the charitable/nonprofit sector in Canada.
