An overview of cutheme training and how it is structured
Welcome to our cutheme training. We are excited to show you around our latest theme! There are lots of exciting new things to explore but much will still be familiar to you if you have worked in our Carleton CMS sites before.
Training Structure
cutheme Training is divided into three parts:
How the Documentation Is Organized
cutheme documentation is organized into three learning paths to help you find information based on your experience level and goals:
- Basic Training introduces the fundamentals of creating and managing content.
- Intermediate Training focuses on layout, organization, and presentation.
- Advanced Training explores design patterns, integrations, forms, and other advanced features.
Throughout the documentation, you’ll find:
- Conceptual overviews that explain when and why to use a feature.
- Step-by-step instructions for completing common tasks.
- Examples and best practices to help you make informed design and content decisions.
- Try It Out exercises that encourage hands-on learning and experimentation.

cutheme Sandbox
The cutheme Sandbox is a site where you can practice and test things out in cutheme without worrying about making changes to your own site. Feel free to test out features, move things around, and generally just explore the tools cutheme has to offer. Access the site by signing in with your Carleton credentials
