Guidelines for Completion of Master’s Degrees

Program requirements To be completed by - Coursework
Within 2 terms of initial registration - Thesis
- DATA 5929 (MASc)
- DATA 5939 (MCS)
- DATA 5919 (MIT)
- DATA 5909 (MSc)
Within 6 terms of initial registration Notes: - Students must consult with their supervisor(s) regarding course selection.
- The Graduate Supervision-Responsibilities & Expectations policy can be found here.
- Students must forward an email to DSAAI@carleton.ca that clearly outlines their supervisor(s) approval to begin working on the master’s thesis. It’s important to remember that once the thesis is started continuous registration must be maintained until completion. This includes registering in the summer term.
