Biography
Frohan was born in Iran, raised in Kuwait, and learnt English as her fourth language, after Farsi, Arabic, and Achomi. She has been an outstanding all-rounder at Carleton, not only excelling in her academic studies, but also contributing immensely to the broader Carleton community through a whole host of other activities.
Frohan graduated with a BEcon (Honours) degree with Concentrations in both Economic Theory and in Quantitative and Mathematical Economics in June 2019, receiving High Distinction and a Senate Medal for Outstanding Academic Achievement. This June, she graduates with an MA in Economics with Specialization in Data Science. In addition, she received the CORS Diploma from the Canadian Operational Research Society in 2019.
Her many other activities at Carleton have included working as a Facilitator Team Leader and a Workshop Facilitator at the Enriched Support Program, as a TA for both Economics and Mathematics, and as Peer Support in the Paul Menton Centre, not to mention serving on Carleton’s Board of Governors and acting as Co-President of the Carleton Graduate Economics Society and as President of the Carleton Undergraduate Economics Society. She is the recipient of many awards including the Board of Governors Award for Outstanding Community Achievement, the Vector Scholarship in Artificial Intelligence, and the Provost Scholar Award.
Future Pursuits
Frohan is currently expanding her horizons by studying entrepreneurship through a prestigious Fellowship at Venture for Canada.
