First Aid training is provided on campus for full-time permanent University employees, as part of the Designated First Aider Program. Emergency First Aid and CPR training is conducted at Carleton University by our very own Carleton University Student Emergency Response Team (CUSERT).  Certifications are issued by the Canadian Red Cross.

This is a 1 day training course with a mix of theory and hands-on practice. Attendees will receive proof of completion and an “Emergency First Aid & CPR” digital handbook.

Who should attend?

Full-time permanent employees designated as first aiders by their department.
