Professor Sarah Brouillette awarded a SSHRC Insight Grant
Congratulations to Dr. Sarah Brouillette for being awarded a SSHRC Insight Grant for a project titled “The Feminization of Publishing Work.” Thanks to this grant, Dr. Brouillette will be able to fund the work of graduate-student research assistants. A small snippet of her work, on BookTok and the rise of romantasy fiction, can be found here. A book about how social-media platforms are changing reading and writing practices is under contract with Duke University Press.
