Bree Crowder

I loved my time at Carleton University; it’s a time that I look fondly on for so many reasons. I entered the English program at Carleton eager to read for credit, but I got so much more than I bargained for.

My English degree from Carleton has afforded me the opportunity to work in editorial for a literary agency, write for major publications like HelloGiggles and Bustle, work in student services in a university, and teach at a university. The lessons in critical analysis and structural integrity that I learned while studying at Carleton are the foundation on which I have built three careers.

In all fields of work I’ve had the privilege of working in, one thing is true: strong writing and editing skills are valuable in any organization, in any field. I have Carleton to thank for those skills.
