Fady Shanouda, Assistant Professor in the PJIWGS, moderated a panel discussion of the documentary short Disruption Embraced following a screening of the film by the Toronto Queer Film Festival. The short includes ten disabled, mad, D/deaf and blind artists reflecting on critical experiences in their lives that stoked their developing passion for the arts. Central to their art practice is the creative disruption and productive force that disability plays in their lives.
