Call for Nominations

FPGA Faculty Board is currently seeking nominations for Secretary and Clerk* of Faculty Board, each for a three-year term beginning July 1, 2026, and two faculty members for Faculty Board Executive Committee, each for a one-year term beginning July 1, 2026.

The responsibilities of the Executive Officer positions can be found in the Faculty Board constitution (Art II.2). The responsibilities of Faculty Board Executive Committee can be found in the Faculty Board Bylaws (II.1).

To apply, complete the relevant form below. Each nomination requires support of at least one full-time FPGA faculty member. Nominations must be received no later than March 31, 2026. In the event there are more nominees than positions, an election will take place at the April 10, 2026 meeting of Faculty Board.

If there are any questions about the positions or process, please contact David Mendeloff, Acting Secretary of Faculty Board.

*Please note that a motion will be presented to Faculty Board at the April meeting to remove the Clerk as an elected position effective July 1, 2026. As the current constitutional requirement for election of a Clerk is still in force, we must consider nominations for that position. Should we receive any eligible nominations and are successful at filling the Clerk position, the motion will be withdrawn.
