Student EDIR Community Excellence Award
This Award recognizes significant contributions by an individual student or a group of students towards equity, diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation (EDIR) in the Faculty of Public and Global Affairs (FPGA) or the broader Carleton community. One award will be given each year when warranted.

- advocating for systemic changes that enhance accessibility and inclusion;
- creating partnerships with community organizations to advance EDIR goals;
- mentoring peers from equity-deserving groups or fostering inclusive student networks;
- other meaningful contributions that demonstrate commitment to EDIR.

Award Recognition
The recipient(s) of the award will receive a $1000 taxable cash award (to be divided among recipients if the award is granted to a group) and a certificate of recognition. They will also be featured in a profile online and on social media to highlight their achievement.

Applicants should use the application submission form to upload their materials. Completed application packages must be received by March 12th, 2026.
