Our Department offers a variety of opportunities for students to work on research and pedagogical projects. Several of our faculty members offer research assistant contracts through their research grants. The Department also participates in Carleton programs like the (SaPP), Student as Partners Program, where a student can team up with a professor to work on teaching projects or the Work Study Program, which offers placement opportunities.

Erykah was a research assistant on the SSHRC-funded research project Langue, nationalisme et colonialisme en Acadie et au Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean of Professor Émilie Urbain.
