Wondering what you can expect in a job interview, and how to prepare for one? This seminar focuses on strategies for preparing yourself for both academic and alternative-to-academic interviews. We will discuss how to efficiently communicate your suitability for a position, different types of interviews, and what to generally expect in an interview.

The seminar features Dr. Aaron Doyle and Dr. Tonya Davidson (Dept. of Sociology and Anthropology) who will speak about preparing for academic tenure-track interviews, and Ivana Saula (Research Director, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Canada) who will discuss alternative-to-academic interviews.

This seminar is part of the Graduate Transitions Workshop Series hosted by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. ALL graduate students, post-doctoral fellows, and recent alumni are welcome!
