Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is looking for talented Master’s and PhD graduates who want to join a team that helps grow Canada’s economy, protect the environment, and advance world-leading science. PARDP is a two-year program consisting of two job placements, with increasing responsibilities, a variety of files, and accelerated promotions. We are seeking talented and motivated professionals interested in natural resource issues and policies. PARDP recruits come from a variety of backgrounds, and have had the chance to work on a wide range of files. A sampling of our cohorts would yield MA graduates in Public Administration, Economics, International Relations, Sustainable Development, PhD graduates in Chemistry and more.

Successful candidates assume diverse assignments across the department, where they have the opportunity to support energy, forestry, and mining sectors. They contribute on issues such as: innovation, competitiveness and climate change. The Program also offers full time, permanent employment within the federal government with unparalleled opportunities for advancement.
