Academics, including graduate students, now have opportunities to disseminate their ideas like never before—through social media, blogging, and online publications as well as traditional media. This discussion-based workshop will address some of the key issues grad students and postdocs should consider when engaging with the public. Whether you are already media-savvy or merely curious about how to share your research, we invite you to join us.

All graduate students and postdocs are welcome. If you are working as a TA, this session counts toward voluntary paid training hours, provided that you are working as a TA in the term when the training takes place.
