Tomoko McGaughey is a PhD Candidate in the Spatial Determinants of Health Lab and is supervised by Dr. Paul Peters. She completed her Master of Public Health specializing in psychometric measurement and knowledge translation at the University of British Columbia and her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences specializing in Quantitative and Population Health at Simon Fraser University. Tomoko’s research focuses on developing a way of identifying high healthcare system users and their characteristics in a way that is inclusive differing rural typologies.
