Carly Farmer, a Masters level student in the NSERC CREATE Heritage Engineering program and the Azrieli School of Architecture at Carleton University, received Honourable Mention in the recent Storytellers Contest sponsored by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC). Carly’s entry told the story of a former mill site in the town of Smiths Falls, Ontario, using her heritage documentation and conservation research on the site.
