Jeff Cody of the Getty Conservation Institute will be the keynote at the 5th Annual NSERC CREATE Heritage Forum on November 8, 2019. The Forum offers students, professors and industry collaborators the opportunity to discuss gaps, issues and developments in heritage conservation and documentation.
Mr. Cody, Senior Project Specialist in the Building & Sites Department, will present the Getty’s new Twentieth-century Historic Thematic Framework. Participants will report on work being done in Canada at John Cooke & Associates, Stantec, WSP, HCS-PSPC, ERA Architects, Taylor Hazell Architects, Architecture Sans Frontieres Quebec, and Carleton, as well as overseas in Barcelona, Portugal, Madrid and Cyprus.
The full-day event will take place on Friday, November 8, 2019 from 9:00am – 4:30pm at Carleton Immersive Media Studio (CIMS). Lunch will be provided. There is no charge but we ask you to register in advance.
Carleton Immersive Media Studio (CIMS) is located on the 4th floor of the VIsualization and Simulation (VSIM) Building in the southwest corner of Carleton University campus. The 4th floor is at ground level and adjacent to Parking Lot P1.
