How does Breakthrough work?

Breakthrough is typically structured as a cohort-based group coaching program dedicated to preparing student-founders to scale their businesses through participation in an accelerator or investor driven advising program. Students are supported in refining their business models, pitches and applications to programs they can leverage after they leave the Innovation Hub. The program is sector-agnostic and focuses on preparing student-led ventures for rapid growth and expansion. Participants are encouraged to move on to an accelerator program following their immersive learning experience in the Hub.

Each cohort is expected to contain a group of aspiring and incorporated founders who are at different stages of their entrepreneurial journeys. Students who have already been through one or more of the Innovation Hub’s programs will be joined by other incorporated founders to discuss how they can improve their team and business performance. Bi-weekly progress updates and monthly pitch check ins will be a key part of this program.
