Incubator Teams

The Innovation Hub student team is changing its look for the 2024-25 academic year. Incubator programs will be facilitated by student teams who are trained to support aspiring entrepreneurs and student founders with conceptualizing, launching and growing their businesses.  Selection for these teams will be completed in the latter half of summer 2024.

Operations Team

Incubator activities will be supported by an operations team responsible for coordinating events, updating website and social media content, writing stories, interviewing student founders, and representing the Innovation Hub at events, conferences and competitions.  These students will be highly visible, interacting with students, faculty, staff and members of Ottawa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem on a regular basis. Most part-time positions at the Innovation Hub are compensated at $20/hr. Students work 10-20 hours a week depending on the number of activities and event being delivered during each period. Student staff will have access to the Hub to complete their work during the week, and have the privilege of using the space to study or conduct meetings on weekends. The majority of each position’s tasks will be completed on Carleton’s main campus (at the Hub, in room 2020 of the Nicol Building), but staff may be required to work remotely at times or from the CU@Kanata space at 350 Legget Drive in Kanata. Please communicate if you need to be provided with accommodation to work in either location.
