How to Enable OneDrive for Business

To gain access to your OneDrive account you must accept the M365 license agreement from Microsoft.

Staff/faculty

  • Accepting the Terms of Use from Microsoft for a downloadable desktop MS Office suite, will also enable your OneDrive for Business license.
  • Note: there is no need to actually download the MS desktop Office suite, in order to enable your OneDrive license. Especially since Carleton’s Windows 10 Image for faculty/staff computers, has MS Office 2016 pre-installed.

Students

  • Accepting this offer from Microsoft, for a downloadable desktop MS Office suite, will also enable your OneDrive for Business license
