The Landon Pearson Centre for the Study of Childhood and Children’s Rights is thrilled to announce the 2023 Dr. Joy Calkin student bursary award winners:
Erynne Sjoblom a PhD Candidate in Epidemiology in the School of Public Health, University of Alberta
and
Keirsten Taylor an undergraduate student in the Department of Psychology, MacEwan University
We extend our thanks to The Muttart Family Foundation for their generous funding of these awards and look forward to welcoming Erynne and Keirsten at the annual Child Rights Academic Network meeting to be held in Ottawa in April, 2024.
The two awards for Indigenous students studying early childhood and related issues will be announced in March 2024.
