Emilia Gonzalez
Emilia is a young researcher interested in migrant youth wellbeing and resettlement. Her work explores youth resilience and participation through a Children’s Rights framework. She is currently a Master’s student at McGill exploring the how community-based support contributes to migrant youth’s experiences in Montreal. Emilia has worked and volunteered with several non-for-profits serving immigrant and refugee youth in the city. Emilia was born in Colombia and currently calls Montreal her home. She loves connecting with young people, listening to their stories and developing youth-led collaborative projects that have the potential to transform our society as well as the individuals involved.
