Trésor Maheshe Musole is a professor at the Catholic University of Bukavu. His research focuses on issues related to peace, security, and migration in the Great Lakes region. He holds a PhD from UCLouvain (2017), specializing in freedom of expression and the right to asylum. He has extensive experience in the legal and human rights fields, gained through his work as a legal advocate for the courts within the jurisdiction of the Bukavu Court of Appeal, and is currently a lawyer at the South Kivu Bar Association (Democratic Republic of Congo).
