Project Title: Sex & Gender Differences in Wellbeing: Understanding Biological Correlates

Description: This study will examine sex differences in dealing with stressors experienced in everyday life and the corresponding biological outcomes (i.e., inflammatory, epigenetic, and hormonal factors) experienced by young adults.

Procedure: Participants will complete an eligibility screener, and then complete a series of questionnaires in person. Questions pertain to medical history, substance use, stress, depression, suicidal ideation, and past abusive experiences. Participants will also provide blood and saliva samples and complete a challenging task.

Eligibility Requirements: Participants must be between 17-29 and fluent in English.

Duration: 2 hours

Location: In-person at Carleton University.

Compensation: Participants will receive $50.00 cash.
