Jessica Da Silva is a Development Officer of Major Giving at London Health Sciences Foundation, which is the fundraising arm for the London Health Sciences Centre. She’s spent the last four years fundraising for the Clinical Neurological Sciences Department and Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre by developing cases for support and launching campaigns.

She’s helped to raise millions of dollars and launch studies that have made direct patient care impact. Jessica specializes in relationship building. Her main goal has been to better understand how to connect with prospective donors and allow for collaborative experiences. She believes strongly that everyone has a passion that pushes them forward to create change.

To help grow her skills, she attended the Madison Institute, with the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy at the Wisconsin School of Business. Also, she has an Honours Specialization in Nonprofit Business Management, from Brescia University College.

She’s excited and honoured to join the MPNL program, and wants to learn from her peers and professors, to gain a deeper understanding of leadership and philanthropy and to improve opportunities for development.

In her spare time, Jessica can be found reading fantasy novels, baking and painting.
