Carleton Women in Business to Host Conference Examining Workplace Gender Inequality

Carleton University Women in Business (CUWIB) will host its annual conference Discovering the Catalyst, which will examine gender inequality in the workplace and how barriers to women can be mitigated. The event will feature keynote speakers, expert panels, networking opportunities and small business exhibits.

When: Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Ottawa Marriott Hotel, 100 Kent Street, Ottawa

Discovering the Catalyst is Carleton’s Women in Business’ most highly anticipated event of the year. The conference’s expert panels will feature a diverse range of distinguished professionals speaking on the topics of accounting and finance; fashion; human resources; law and politics; as well as entrepreneurship and consulting.

The keynote speech will be delivered by actress, speaker and author, Kim Coles. The event’s moderator is journalist, public speaker, television host and producer, Barbara Balfour.
