Carleton University Hosts Life Sciences Day 4.1

Carleton University will host the fourth annual Life Sciences Day on April 6, 2021. This multidisciplinary event will bring together academic, government and industry sectors to build awareness of the important work encompassed by life sciences researchers at Carleton and provide a unique opportunity for attendees to network and explore partnership possibilities.

The Life Sciences Day 4.1 program will include a keynote presentation, exciting panel discussions and innovative research presentations by Carleton faculty members and individuals from the external research community. The 2021 program topics include mental health and the pandemic, and medical devices and diagnostics.

The virtual conference will also include a poster competition, where students will have the opportunity to present their research. Throughout the day, student posters will be showcased, with cash prizes being awarded to all three groups (undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral) as judged by an external committee.
