Celebrating Carleton Champions: Join us in Honoring the Ravens Women’s Basketball and Nordic Skiing Teams
Carleton University invites you to join us for a celebration of excellence in women’s sports. Carleton will be holding an event bringing together the Carleton community in honour of the championship success of our Ravens women’s basketball and Nordic skiing teams.
When: Wednesday, March 20, 2024, doors open at 10:15 am, the program begins at 10:30 am
Where: Tory Building, Foyer
The women’s basketball team’s thrilling 70-67 victory over the Saskatchewan Huskies earned them their second consecutive U SPORTS title and third championship win in just six years. With this latest title coming home to the Nest, the Carleton Ravens’ legacy of basketball excellence has grown to a jaw-dropping 20 national championship wins in the last 21 years.
The women’s Nordic skiing team captured the program’s second CCUNC Championship at this week’s Nordique Canada Championships. A dynasty in its own right, the team has won seven of the last eight OUA Women’s Championships.
