Sam is a Research Economist at Statistics Canada and has published on international affairs and migration topics. He has previous experience working at other federal government departments, including the Department of Finance and Global Affairs Canada. He is also a former managing editor for the Canadian Foreign Policy Journal.
Sam is a Ph.D. graduate from NPSIA where he studied international migrant remittances, specifically remittance channel selection. He also holds a Masters degree in economics from the Université de Montréal.
