First Year Connections is a peer-to-peer mentorship program offered by the Student Experience Office. New and first-year students will be paired with an upper-year student in a similar academic program who can support them in their transition to Carleton.

Connecting with a Peer Mentor gives students the opportunity to have someone to answer their questions, help connect with campus resources, help them learn more about their program and help them learn how to get involved on campus. Peer mentors are trained in providing great resources and support for first-year students, from the the first week of September until fall break. The First Year Connections program is free to participate. Visit the Student Experience Office website to register!
