The Umoja Black Community Builder Award is intended to support the academic endeavours of African, Caribbean and Black (ACB) students at Carleton University who are in financial need.
This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, leadership and initiative in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for Black students, as well as promoting diversity, equity and social justice within their campus and beyond.
The student must have been registered at Carleton in the winter 2024 term. The application deadline is Sunday, April 14, 2024.
