The Umoja Black Community Builder Award
Description
The Umoja Black Community Builder Award is intended to support the academic endeavors of African, Caribbean, and Black (ACB) students at Carleton university who are in financial need. This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, leadership, and initiative in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for Black students, as well as promoting diversity, equity, and social justice within their campus and beyond.
Criteria
The student must have been registered at Carleton in the Winter 2024 term.
