Naz Ahmed

Naz is PFM’s Assistant Director of Investments and is responsible for leading the Pension Fund Management office’s work on investment due diligence, monitoring, liquidity, and risk management. Formerly Naz spent well over a decade in the banking industry in a variety of roles including trading, risk management, credit underwriting, and sales spanning Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, and Edmonton. Naz is a proud Carleton graduate with a Bachelors of Engineering (Mechanical) and holds the Professional Risk Management (PRM) and Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designations. Naz actively volunteers including building homes in the Philippines in the aftermath of Typoon Kammuri and has personally funded several orthopedic surgeries for underprivileged children
