We are proud to announce that Procurement Services has achieved Green Certification for Sustainability’s Green Workplace Program on June 2022. Our department achieved Silver Certification during the COVID pandemic in May 2021, and this was an incentive for our team to strive for Green Certification upon our return to the office in April 2022. By evaluating our office’s sustainable practices and making a few small changes – which included using recyclable Keurig cups in the coffee maker in our office, turning off all electronics at night, and having office members bring their lunch in reusable or compostable containers – we were able to attain Green Certification! Procurement Services encourages all departments on campus to join Sustainability’s Green Workplace Program to support Carleton in its continued efforts to be a leader in sustainability.
