IRYI Youth
Macy Metallic is Mi’gmaq from Listuguj Gespe’gewa’gi and graduated with a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership Studies from the University of New Brunswick, Renaissance College, in Spring 2023. She has since continued to work with the Listuguj Mi’gmaq Government for the past two years, spending one year in the Youth Leadership Program as a Youth Facilitator and currently serving as a Junior Executive Assistant in the Executive Office. Macy is dedicated to youth advocacy, Indigenous self-governance, and advancing the rights and well-being of her community.
