Sarah Simpkin

Sarah Simpkin is completing a MSc in Northern Studies at Carleton University. Her interests include knowledge mobilization in the broad area of climate change, including Indigenous knowledge, community participation, and capacity building in Arctic environmental science. She holds an Hon. BSc in Physical Geography, GIS and Biology from the University of Toronto and a Master of Library and Information Science from Western University. A former GIS Librarian, Sarah is currently on leave from the University of Ottawa Library, where she leads the Arts and Special Collections department.
