Will you get the message?
Feb 18, 2015 – For immediate release
In the event of an on-campus emergency which requires immediate action by the Carleton community, the Campus Safety Services can send out an immediate Emergency Notification Message.
The Emergency Notification System uses three forms of communication to deliver instructional messages should an emergency occur:
- A computer screen notification
- emails sent to Carleton addresses (e.g. @cmail.carleton.ca, @cunet.carleton.ca, @carleton.ca) and;
- cellphone text messages (you must register for this free service via Carleton Central).

To receive ENS notifications by text message, sign up today! It’s easy.
Log onto Carleton Central at https://central.carleton.ca to register your cellphone number. Locate the “Emergency Notification System” link which is found off the main menu under “Campus Alerts.” Once you have subscribed, you will receive a welcome text message from 30000035 that confirms your subscription. This completes the subscription process and no further action will be required on your part.
All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to register to receive ENS text messages.
