Project: Integrating sensor technology and multidisciplinary care to ensure safe, secure and healthy independent aging

2025 –

Project goal: The collaboration between SAM3, Thriving.ai, and Generations aims to redefining independent aging through innovative technology. By integrating advanced sensor technology with the Thriving.ai platform, this project enables older adults to live safely, securely, and healthily in their own homes for longer. The system continuously monitors well-being, detects potential risks, and facilitates real-time communication between caregivers, healthcare professionals, and family members. This proactive approach ensures that older adults receive timely support while maintaining their independence.

What makes this project unique is its multidisciplinary model, which seamlessly combines formal care services (such as healthcare providers) with informal support from families and communities. By bridging these care gaps, the project enhances overall quality of life and reduces unnecessary hospital visits. In this project we will be adding and testing additional sensors for monitoring wellness such as hydration and medication adherence.

With aging populations growing worldwide, envisAGE  & these collaborators represent a vital step toward a more connected, efficient, and compassionate approach to senior care, ensuring dignity and security for older adults.
