PhD student Sarah Brown has been selected as one of three recipients of this year’s Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Foundation’s 10 000 $ grants.  The Tyler Lewis Clean Energy Research Grant is meant to provide financial support to graduate students at Canadian Universities conducting research in the field of clean energy.  Recipients are selected based on the relevance of their work experience and academic training to the field of the proposed research, research ability and the potential to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in a clean energy research field, enthusiasm for research and discovery, demonstration of a lifestyle that is in-line with environmental consciousness, and developed leadership/interpersonal skills.  This grant will support Sarah as she continues her research on increasing the contribution of passive solar gains to space heating and domestic hot water heating in Canadian homes.
