Rebecca started her PhD at Carleton in January, 2018 and is working to experimentally validate coupled heat and mass transfer models for the sand-based thermal storage system at the Urbandale Centre for Home Energy Research.
Prior to coming to Carleton, she designed industrial process equipment, troubleshot tailings process systems in the Alberta oil sands, and worked as a consultant in the sustainable building industry. She is a Professional Engineer (Alberta) and holds her LEED AP (BD+C) accreditation. She is bilingual in French and fluent in Spanish and is excited to be a part of the SBES team.
